Requirements:
American State Citizen
You must complete the 928 paperwork process. We do not force citizenship upon private American State Nationals, whose only duties are to keep the peace and uphold the Public Law. American State Citizen status is a voluntary, but necessary, action to take on specific positions for The Alabama Assembly.
Able-bodied
This term is considered by us to be broad. If you have the physical ability to perform a job for The Militia without compromising your own safety or the safety of others, we will do what we can to find a place for you. Whether it be on the frontline actively assisting with rescue operations or in an office handling paperwork, The Alabama Assembly State Militia needs you.
21-45
Jural Assembly members and men who are State Citizens and 21-45 years of age are expected to join their State Assembly Militia. If you are over the age of 45, but meet other requirements, you may voluntarily join.
**Veterans**
​You must complete some extra steps to sever ties with the U.S. Military before joining The State Assembly Militia.
